User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; ru; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20111108 Iceweasel/3.5.16 (like Firefox/3.5.16) Build ID: 20111108221934 Steps to reproduce: press "X" button of firefox main (and last left open) window, then after some time start firefox. Actual results: firefox behaves like it behaves when it was improperly, forcibly, too quickly closed or crashed: directory where i saved files is not saved, even if all tabs were closed, old session pages may appear. in ubuntu version it waits several seconds then asks to force quit or wait, then, i do not remember, may be force quits it after several seconds, if answer is not provided. in debian iceweasel version may be, seems, it closes it even faster. Expected results: firefox should close properly, saving what it wants to save, and then start correctly.
this feature of X button is useful, because sometimes firefox menu and tabs do not respond, and this button may make force quit of firefox.
Can you reproduce this with a current build from http://nightly.mozilla.org/?
Justin, i do not want to install it.
3.5 is no longer supported, so unless you test with a current release (to see if it's still an issue) this won't ever be fixed.
