Hi Chelsea,
I was wondering if you would be able to assist us in pulling a report on Firefox Aurora affiliates buttons.
It would be great to see how they did since they were implemented to the end of december.
Thanks for your help on this!

Hey Mike,
Can you pull how many instances of the Aurora Desktop buttons we have active? I haven't been able to find it in the admin panel. If you can direct me, I'll pull it otherwise, can you post it in the bug when you have a sec?
Thanks!
Chelsea

There are 339 active Aurora Desktop buttons. I can't give an exact number yet, but the total amount of clicks on them is in the area of 13000 clicks.
In the admin interface, if you view the list of banner instances, there's a box on the right that will let you filter by banner, which is how I got these numbers.

hi mkelly,
just the general numbers is super helpful. It's okay if we dont see which banner (for now).
Are we able to track donwloads from here? or maybe not?
are we able to track which users has highest clicks/downloads (also dont need it for now, but in the near future).
Thanks!

We can track clicks, but we can't track actual downloads.
We can track which user has the highest amount of clicks.

hi mkelly,
would you be able to give me access to the admin interface?
if not, would you be able to help me get the numbers for
total amount of clicks and user that has highest amount of clicks for end of dec and end of jan.
thanks!

We can get get the data for end of January (if we check today), but to get the data for end of December we'd need to run a custom query, as the admin interface doesn't let us filter data by date in that way.
To confirm, when you say total, you mean every click from all time, not the total for the month, right?
And for the user with the most clicks, you also want to consider all clicks and not just clicks for that specific month?
Once you confirm that, I'll write the queries, file an IT bug to run them, and CC you on that bug.

hi mkelly,
no worries, let's just get the total up to date (we dont have to get dec if it's too complicated).
I'll just make sure to check every end of the month.
thanks!

Grace: I've sent you credentials to access the production admin area for Affiliates.
To get the total you want:
1. Click on the BannerInstance section.
2. Use the box on the right to filter by the Aurora Banner
3. Click the clicks column header to sort in descending order.
4. Addition! :P
We're currently working on a way to track this better, so be assured this isn't going to be the only way to get the numbers for too long.
