1. click on link from external app
2. link opens in Aurora
3. click hardware back button

Expected:

return to external app

Actual:

sent to Aurora home screen

This WFM on Nightly (e.g, Gmail -> Link followed opened in Nightly -> Back button, back to Gmail). Did something not land on Aurora?

I just tested this in Nightly and it appears to be working great! So it was fixed one or 2 days ago, as it was my biggest pain point currently
