The Branch table is used to map incoming crashes by version to one of the branches: beta, aurora or nightly. Typically, the most recent release is mapped to the beta branch in order to maximize testing of crashes users are seeing in the wild. This leads to two rows for the beta branch in the Branch table. Due to this bug the code which uploaded new crash reports from the crash dumps, or url lists and even the coverage jobs created by workers would end up submitting a job for each row in the branch table thus generating duplicate jobs.
