717671 - Approved logos for Company Info pages on Social Networks?

I need to create a company info page on Xing.com, which will include listing of open positions, somewhat like the out-of-date one we have on LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/company/13948?trk=pro_other_cmpy

I found a jpeg of that "Mozilla Corporation" logo on the intranet, but I suspect that it's deprecated, as well as aesthetically uninteresting.

Do we have logos onhand that could be used for company info pages across social networks?  I need to get the Xing stuff up soon, but I'd also like us to have a consistent, well branded presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Xing, Viadeo, etc.

Hi there.

We definitely have logos, yes.  Depending on the place, we've led with either the FF logo or the mozilla wordmark.  The Firefox assets can all be found in the FF toolkit, here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/downloads/

If you're looking for the mozilla wordmark, I can get that for you

sure, what are the specs that you need?  size? transparent PNG? JPG? white wordmark or black?

That's the optimal size.  I don't think it's the best looking logo, but I could make do with a version of that in jpg that isn't as closely clipped as the old copy I found on the intranet.

Alternately, a black wordmark with a transparent background (jpg) of about the same size should work well.

Is that enough information?  I've never filed a creative bug before.

Yup, that's perfect. Lets definitely not use the old Mozilla Corporaiton logo as that has been retired under the "one mozilla" initiative :) we're only leading with "mozilla"

Rhonda, if you can give us a JPG of the wordmark as described above, that'd be awesome.

Attachment: black mozilla logo 100 x 36 PNG

This is the size requested on a transparent background, PNG which will work anywhere a JPG will work, and this way the background can be transparent (a JPG will require a white background.).
