71825 - launching opening browser with advanced search sidebar panel tab causes freeze lockup hang

Tested: 2001031305 linux mozilla build on redhat 6.2

Summary: launching or opening the browser in the modern theme with the advanced
search sidebar panel (tab) visible and All Engines selected causes the app to
freeze/lockup/hang.  

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new profile (not necessary, but advised if you don't want to see
this problem on your primary profile)
2. Start the browser
3. Switch to the modern theme
4. Open the search sidebar tab
5. In the Search Menu|My Sidebar Search Tab select Advanced
6. In the  Search Sidebar select All Engines from the 'within' select
7.  Exit the browser and relaunch

Results: hang  freeze lockup.  The seach tab fails to display it's contents
except for the word "Loading..." and the little circling arrows (frozen).

Expected results: Browser starts and search tab displays and everyone is happy.

Additional Info.  Others have been able to reproduce this problem in Classic but
I have not been able to.

I see this on my mac - I just posted two stack traces on the sweetlou build -
probably not much help, but this is not just happening on linux.

If you wait patiently this will crash for you (at least it did on my Mac).
I also just reproduced this with 2001031304 build on Win98 but strangely this did NOT 
hang on NT4 -don't know what's up with that.
the relnote keyword saddens me, this should be a top priority fix.

While I was typing this I waited patiently and my Win98 box eventually crashed (about 1min.)
I'll have a talkback stack trace in a jiffy.

If I had to test stuff, it was on Win2K, build id 2001052404.
