stage-old.mozilla.org is an alias for surf.mozilla.org.

$ host stage.mozilla.org   
stage.mozilla.org is an alias for surf.mozilla.org.

so far I found them in the following modules:
buildbot-configs: releaseConfig['stagingServer']
patcher-configs: all files
tools/release/updates: update verify configs

This should be an easy thing. AFAICT all of the machines have stage.mozilla.org host keys already:

In both this and the buildbot-configs patch I didn't touch any of the SeaMonkey/Thunderbird/Calendar configs, because I don't know the state of their known_hosts files.

Good catch! I've totally forgotten about known_hosts.

This made it to production on Monday, and 10.0b6 ran successfully with it!

Any particular reason the esr configs still use stage-old ? In the swap to the scl3 infra http://stage-old.m.o doesn't serve requests any more.

No good reason, certainly. Probably just an oversight.
