719925 - Joining/Leaving group doesn't update the groups page

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login and go to any groups page (e.g. https://mozillians-dev.allizom.org/en-US/group/181-mozilliansorg )
2. Either join the group if you aren't in there or leave it.

Actual Results:
You've either joined or left the group in the app, but the page doesn't update to reflect that change until I reload it manually.

Expected Results:
The page should reflect the change that was made in the app automatically.

Verified on Dev. The join group button automatically updates the page half the time, while the leave group button hasn't automatically updated the page for me once.

:austind thanks for nudging the bug. I'm able to reliably reproduce this on dev and stage. Not on prod.
