I don't think we get version numbers for Mac crashes. But I see the libnames. Here's the short version of the results for time period from 1/3/2012 to 1/23/2012: Flip4Mac WMV Plugin 15 Flip4Mac WMV Import 10 Flip4Mac WMV Advanced 1 FlashPlayer-10.6 94 FlashPlayer-10.4-10.5 9 FlashPlayerDebugger-10.4-10.5 1 Flash Player Debugger 1 Flash Player 103

I should note that these numbers come with some caveats. These module counts are crash counts where the module name was present in the dump field of processed_json in socorro. processed_json as a whole only accounts for a small percentage of total crashes per day. I'm cc'ing rhelmer to see if he knows what the percentage is on average in this time period. Assuming that processed_json is a representative sample then you could do the math to figure out roughly how many this translates to.

Sadly, these numbers don't line up with my expectations considering there have been >1000 crashes in that timeframe: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/query/query?product=Firefox&version=Firefox%3A10.0b5&version=Firefox%3A10.0b4&version=Firefox%3A10.0b3&version=Firefox%3A10.0b2&version=Firefox%3A10.0b1&range_value=3&range_unit=weeks&date=01%2F23%2F2012+17%3A18%3A54&query_search=signature&query_type=exact&query=GLEngine%400x620cf+&reason=&build_id=&process_type=any&hang_type=any&do_query=1 Wouldn't we expect more than a third of those users to have Flash?
definitely need rhelmer to chime in, I will say that since the data comes from processed data, it is subject to the 10% throttling rule.

Release versions are throttled (only 10% are processed, plus any crash with a comment or email address provided). Beta, Nightly, and Aurora are not subject to any throttling, we process 100% of these. Xavier and I just discussed in IRC and he is going to do another run and show the version(s) so we can do accurate comparisons to e.g. the URL in comment 5
Here's the numbers broken out by Firefox version: 10.0 Flash Player 94 10.0 FlashPlayer-10.6 85 10.0 FlashPlayer-10.4-10.5 9 10.0 Flip4Mac WMV Plugin 13 10.0 Flip4Mac WMV Import 9 10.0 Flip4Mac WMV Advanced 1 10.0 Flash Player Debugger 1 10.0 FlashPlayerDebugger-10.4-10.5 1 10.0a2 FlashPlayer-10.6 1 10.0a2 Flash Player 1 11.0a2 FlashPlayer-10.6 8 11.0a2 Flash Player 8 11.0a2 Flip4Mac WMV Plugin 2 11.0a2 Flip4Mac WMV Import 1
(In reply to Xavier Stevens [:xstevens] from comment #8) > Here's the numbers broken out by Firefox version: Thanks! These are all non-release versions so throttling should not be a factor here. > 10.0 FlashPlayerDebugger-10.4-10.5 1 BTW these just say "10.0" because the breakpad client no longer sends the beta number with the breakpad POST; Socorro has a record of which build ID matches which beta, so we can get that if needed. This would need to be run again, broken out by version and buildID, so let us know if that is helpful.
I'm going to resolve this for now then. Let us know if you have further questions.
