In this testcase, the text is too small to read on my phone. Double tapping it doesn't seem to do anything. I can pinch zoom it to make it readable, but then part of the lines are off screen, so I need to pan sideways to read the whole line. This makes reading very uncomfortable Tested on the LG Optimus Black, Android 2.2.2 in portrait mode. This reminds me of the "Text inflation vs. rewrapping" discussion: https://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.dev.platform/browse_frm/thread/61d87d047815c48f?hl=nl# In XUL Fennec, there is the "reformat Text on Zoom" option, which seems to fix this bug.

Actually stock browser does more or less the same in this testcase. The text is really small, double tapping it does zoom in on the text, but doesn't reformat it to fit the screen (as it would normally do). Opera Mobile zooms in and reformats the text to fit the sceen on double tap, so Opera Mobile has the best behavior here, in my opinion.

maybe readability can help? If stock does the same, even though it is terrible, it sounds like this isn't a very serious problem.
