Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
When I select and right-click on a link that looks like http://example.com or http://example.com/something.html or example.com the link context menu appears (Open Link, Open Link in New Tab and Open Link in New Window) BUT it won't appear if it's like example.com/something.html ,in fact not even if it's just example.com/
That should be fixed because especially on forums or blogs or whatever, people don't put http:// in front of an address because it's bothersome and Firefox hides the http:// prefix in the address/awesome bar by default so it isn't unusual to have somewhere an address like example.com/path/something.html and we aren't able to open it from the context menu.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Right click on a link that has any characters behind it's domain but doesn't have the http:// prefix
Actual Results:
The desired context menu with Open Link, Open Link in New Tab and Open Link in New Window doesn't appear
Expected Results:
It should appear
