Known omission. My suggestion is to not use Android Sync with your main profile until it's stable; it's in Nightly and Aurora just so people can try it out. You can restore your bookmarks from the automatic backups that Sync takes on desktop: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Backing-up-restoring-bookmarks?redirectlocale=en-US&s=restore+bookmarks&r=0&as=s&redirectslug=Backing+up+and+restoring+bookmarks#w_restoring-from-backups

Summary: sync blew away order of items on my bookmarks toolbar → Android Sync does not preserve bookmark order
Richard, is this just something that Sync hasn't implemented yet? AFAIK, the DB does have a position column for this exact purpose.

Yup, just something we apparently didn't get around to. I'll be looking into it this week. (Getting this right is complicated, given that records can arrive in any order; we need to update positions after futzing with parent records and reconciling.)

I this possibly a dupe of 708149. Dietrich, do you have things like smartmarks, livemarks, feeds or separators on your BM toolbar? If so, look in your library. Did all those things get pushed to the end of the BM Toolbar folder?

Dietrich just used an alpha-quality product too soon! But we've fixed this now with Bug 718238.
