what's interesting, is that in safe mode, this page behaves properly. the cursor is placed into the summary box. why is firefox so broken?
I forgot to add, when in safe mode,firefox doesn't cause quite the memory leak that it does as on this page. while yahoo answers is loaded http://answers.yahoo.com (you must have a yahoo account to post) it also has ever-increasing memory. also, strangely enough, for seemingly no reason at all, sf.net pages that don't seem to be doing anything are slowly adding up memory. is there some leaks in 10.x? there seem to be some that weren't in 9.x - there doesn't seem to be in linux firefox (maybe it's in safe mode). IF it's my profile AGAIN and AGAIN (amazing how this seems to haoppen so often in firefox but not in other browsers), please fix whatever is corrupting it instead of making us reset the profile every few months! how do I do this without clobbering thunderbird? and my plugins?
to watch what's happening, simply run firefox visit a web site, and do ctrl-alt-del to bring up the task manager, click the processes tab, and sort by image name. click on firefox.exe and watch the numbers go up.
