722388 - Allow users to enter their email address in Input feedbacks

Sometimes users provide valuable feedback in Input and want to allow Mozilla to get back to them. Currently it is impossible due to the anonymous nature of Input.

I do suggest having a opt-in check box on the feedback submission page with the label "Allow Mozilla to contact me regarding this feedback" which will than show an input field for providing the user email address. 

Next, the email address should be never shown on the public site, but only to authenticated members of the team who could contact the user by email. 

We could also send an automated "thank you!" message to every person who will provide his mail address.

Adding my comments here rather than making a new bug. This is an idea that we've been bouncing around for a while and now that we're rewriting Input, it's a good item to put it in.

The opt in text (pending privacy confirmation) is going to be the following:

The email users a "thank you" is not going to happen in this cycle, although it's a good idea worth considering for the future.

Adding whiteboard data so that it shows up in scrumbugz. Cheng mentioned that this is something we want to do soon so that it goes through security review, so I'm bumping it up to P1.

Cheng: Do you need us to wait for the opt-in text approval or is it ok if we implement this and then change the text later?

If a user checks the box allowing email collection, but does not enter an email address, should this be considered an error, sending the user back to the feedback page, or should it be ignored and the the user should be sent to the Thank You page? If it were ignored, obviously no email address would be collected.

Sorry, I thought I'd submitted this comment (stupid internet drop out at home).

Right now, I think this should be an error. If this raises red flags with privacy because it makes it feel too mandatory, I can work on softening up the error message or uncheck the include email address box after the submit.

This never should have been a 0 point bug. Before we work on bugs, they should have estimates. Otherwise it screws up our sprint planning.

Making this a 2 because that's what it probably should have been even though we probably did 3+ points of work on it.
