Hi all, We would like to put together a video for the upcoming FF11 release for Android to highlight all the cool new features. The tablet video was extremely popular (75,000 views yet!) and this video will be great for generating press. Filing this bug as a placeholder for the brief to come. Just to get started thinking, I would like something story-like similar to the Grace's bday/cupcake lady video (http://youtu.be/zCe_1DxBQDc) but possibly with more browsing action and geared more toward a male audience. Carmen - I will include this into the content brief for FF11. Will you be driving this after that? Tara - any Creative guidelines we should keep in mind while brainstorming? Rainer - I'll follow the brief guidelines we used for the tablet video Deadline for completed video is March 12.

Hey Jaclyn - I'm not sure what you're asking here, so I'll do my best to answer. :) This is a video campaign, just like any other campaign. You'll drive the video creation because you have the vision, but yes, if you include it in the content brief for FF11 - I will drive the promotion part on the user engagement channels. I'll make sure it's represented in the content plan for March.
Ah ok, I misunderstood the new content process then, I thought it meant you would be driving the creation of content (like videos). Got it!
Hi there. Happy to help provide feedback and general high-level brand direction/ guidelines as needed. Maybe it's best if I see the initial outline of the video before commenting? It would help me better understand your vision for the piece. Rainer is pretty much up to date on our general video guidelines: standard intros/outros, typography for the text, transitions, etc. But would be great to post in-progress work as well so we can review and share comments before it's too late. Sound good?

Sounds good to me!
Here's my first pass at the video script: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bdH0c02s8LbYOtwjpqUR_dCVby_F5d9vL-4MCBXCILA/edit Tara - would love to get your creative feedback and how we could make it more interesting :) Patrick - any comments on messaging and how we could possibly make the product shine more? Rainer and I will be meeting on Feb 6 to talk logistics, so any feedback before then would be super.
Version 2 after thinking about it a little more and with Patrick's comments https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bdH0c02s8LbYOtwjpqUR_dCVby_F5d9vL-4MCBXCILA/edit cc'ing Matej for copy feedback/creative suggestions Tara what do you think?
I made one comment in the doc, but over all I think it's looking good. I agree with Tara, though. Would be good to see some works in progress so we can comment as it's going along. As it is, I think the "rich browsing" scene might be less clear than the others, but hard to say before seeing it.
Updated the deadline to May 11 due to launch date being pushed back

Hey Jaclyn, keep us posted on the progress here :)
HI Rainer, can you post the footage that we have so far here? Thanks!
here is the link to a raw cut .... very raw .... we don't have any browsing yet .... files.me.com/rainercv/xhbg2o.mov Is May 11 still the deadline?
Hi Rainer, May 11 is not the deadline anymore. The last time we sync'd up, we left off of at a mid-July completion date. Thanks
OK, cool ..... just got alarmed by Tara's comment that something might have changed .... all good ... THX
Hey guys, not sure if there's any specific feedback you're looking for, but I think the footage is looking good so far. Had another look at the doc and most of the supers are nice and concise, but a couple are really long. I won't bother making changes now, but maybe there's some trimming we can do once we see them over the footage. Thanks for the update!
Hey guys, checking in... how is this going?
on pause for now
