The results I get in the location bar seem to be ordered randomly with the entry I'm looking for being too far down or missing entirely. This requires me to type more in order to narrow down the list, but this as well fails too often since there seem to be too many similar entries in my history. Getting the right result with the least input can make or break a mobile browser. My history is there (thanks Sync!), but I can't easily access it. So right now Firefox isn't really more useful than the Android browser to me. We should be very careful with making any compromises here. Will bug 704977 fully solve this? I'm filing this as a separate bug in case it won't.
We may not be able to get an exact match to desktop, but bug 704977 is about getting us as close as we can.
