Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-15mdksmp i686; en-US; 0.8) Gecko/20010313 BuildID: 2001031311 When reading articles that haven't been read so far this session, reads create new nntp connections instead of reusing existing connections. Also, the previously read articles' connections are not closed. So, for NNTP servers which support only a limited number N of NNTP connections, the newsreader becomes non-functional after reading N articles: only N articles total can be read per session. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Given: NNTP server which limits connection to a fixed (small) N. 1. Click on a newsgroup for that server in the mailnews view. 2. Fetch N different articles from the server by clicking on them (success). 3. Fetch another article (failure). Actual Results: , it fails with the following error in a pop up window: A News (NNTP) error occurred: Too Many Connectoins [auth-readers allows 5 per host/0 per feed (0 == nolimit)] (Twister v1.2.0) Expected Results: Show the article.
