I ran into this while working on 3D Transforms reftests. I cannot for the life of me reduce the test-case any further: data:text/html,<!doctype html> <iframe style="overflow:hidden" src='data:text/html,<!doctype html> <div style="width: 100px; -moz-transform-style: preserve-3d; -moz-transform: translatex(100%)"> <div style="-moz-transform-style: preserve-3d"> <div style="width: 100px; height: 100px; background: red; -moz-transform: translatex(-100px)">'></iframe> <script> var test = document.querySelector("iframe"); setInterval(function() { if (test.style.display) { test.style.display = ""; } else { test.style.display = "none"; } }, 100); </script> This will create an iframe with a red square that blinks on and off. But after a few times of blinking on and off in Firefox 13.0a1 (2012-02-01), the red square disappears most of the time. If I move my cursor around in the Firefox window, the red square appears as long as I move it. This happens both in Ubuntu 11.10 with nouveau graphics drivers, which probably are not providing 3D acceleration (although I have enabled the experimental Gallium3D support); and in Windows 8 Developer Preview running in a VM, which also probably has no 3D acceleration. I can find nothing in the test-case to remove that doesn't make the bug disappear.

This will be fixed with the patch for bug 722603. Still working on a few other failures, but this problem is fixed locally.

Seems to be fixed in 15.0a1 (2012-05-28).
