724118 - changing orientations will move the cursor to the beginning of the line for an uncommited characters

Description

1. set the device to portrait
2. go to people.mozilla.com/~nhirata/html_tp/formsninput.html
3. use simeji, click in a field and type in "あか" (a ka)
4. change the device to landscape

expected: there will be no change
Actual: the cursor moves to the front of the word.

Is it specific to Simeji? I cannot reproduce it with other IME's (not on ICS though).

I was able to repro on gingerbread (galaxy S ii).  I think you need an IME that has a commit (ie Asian language: korean, chinese, japanese.)   I also reproed with Kaeda IME.
