Details

After bug 671634 (for mobile) and bug 588909 (for other versions), the Gecko build date is no longer present in the UA string. That means we have no way of seeing the build day in about:support (and also in the about: page). We should explicitly display the Build ID there in the future.
Note that bug 588909 went into effect on trunk last night, so this will be urgent for 13.0 to facilitate proper support. Thunderbird already displays the Build ID in their own about:support implementation, that's bug 624108 (id="buildid-box").

Bug 588909 has been backed out on trunk and is therefore unresolved. Let's track this for Firefox desktop once it's landed.

FWIW, the build ID isn't that interesting for end-user support.
