Details

Some helpers are important:
- error messages
- selection completions
- command completions

Some are sometimes helpful:
- some manuals (e.g. that the units of the sleep param are seconds)
- opening menu

Some are borderline annoying:
- banal help

We should be smarter about what to show, and when.

In addition to the type of help we can take note of:
- key pressed (more likely to need help if typing stopped
- key pressed (F1 = help)
- a helpfulness pref (f1-only,sometimes,always)
