IMAP won't connect to localhost

Details
Starting with build 2001030222, I can no longer
connect to localhost using IMAP. This feature/setting
works fine in nightly build 2001021510.
I could find no other win32 builds between those dates.
I checked the latest build, 2001031915 and the
problem is still evident on my system.
My company has a program that runs a IMAP forwarder
on my PC's localhost ports.
I am able to telnet into localhost:143 to verify that
the port is active.
The Mozilla mail app simply waits when I click on
INBOX.
I was not able to locate any similar bugs.
This problem difinitely happens between the two builds
I mentioned above.

this is a dup of 72831. we can't connect to localhost down in the bowls of DSN
anymore it seems.
