David/Mary,

Can you both work with me on refreshing some of the major areas of copy that we'll be able to incorporate on your new /contribute landing page?

Note: this is just for the /contribute landing experience, you may want to make changes to those sub-pages, but that would be out of scope for this immediate need.

Once we have this review, we'll ask Matej to polish :-)

To clarify, it seems like we're pulling in content from sub-pages into the landing page so a content refresh of at least some of the sub-pages seems relevant.  I may not be fully understanding the scope here though.

Looking more closely at the etherpad, what's there now seems to be what's being shown just in the 'Find An Opportunity' section.  Am I'm reading that right?

FWIW, I've been wanting to refresh that for a while now anyway, so this is a good excuse :)

Yes, this is just for the Find an Opportunity section on the /contribute landing page.

Given the timeline, that's the immediate need, so we can do a full review on stage. Anything else should go into a new bug, as it's out of scope, should not be a blocker if we want to move this forward in Q1.

Hey David, the scope here is minimal and specific to just what appears on the landing page (not the subpages):

This is the content you want to pull onto the tab view on the mozilla.org/contribute design.

Some options:

*headline
*headline + teaser text + link to "read more" 
*headline + full text (if there's no place to really link)
*headline + full text (if there's no place to really link) + link to sign-up for contributor opportunities (would expand email)

Going through and closing old bugs.  The content has been refreshed since then but it wasn't tracked in this bug.
