The mobile version of twitter's HTML5 App served from m.twitter.com does not respond to touch events using the latest fennec nightly build. I suspect there are probably other things broken as well, but I am not able to use the app much so I can't really tell what else is broken. Oh, you will need to fake the user agent to get twitter to serve you their mobile app instead of their website.

Nominating for kilimanjaro, as this affects a top site and tier 1 app.

I would not block kilimanjaro on this bug. Isn't m.twitter.com the crappy generic mobile site? Shouldn't we worry about getting the cool HTML5 version of twitter working in Gecko mobile?

(In reply to Mark Finkle (:mfinkle) from comment #2) > I would not block kilimanjaro on this bug. Isn't m.twitter.com the crappy > generic mobile site? Shouldn't we worry about getting the cool HTML5 version > of twitter working in Gecko mobile? Right, but that's what Ragavan is referring to here. He switched the user agent and tried out Twitter's HTML 5 site to see the touch event issues. FYI - We have a whitelisted account to test the HTML5 twitter site on mobile gecko.

Ack. Reword comment 3. "Right, but what Ragavan is referring to here is the HTML 5 twitter site after switching the user agent to a webkit-based UA"
