Details
The necko team needs node binaries deployed to the testing slaves, starting with linux. John O'Duinn has more info on this from an in-person meeting.

Do you need the latest version v0.6.11? Do you see this needing upgrading to any new version that comes out immediately or will you be tracking a single version for the time being?
Do you need access to the official npm repository? Will we be installing local npm packages?
We actually need an as-yet-unreleased version of node to support the SPDY protocol (which is why I will be providing binaries once some concerns discussed with joduinn are worked out). Chances are this will not be upgraded very often. We will not need NPM access at this point in time, and though I can't imagine that changing, I don't want to make any guarantees.
