Where are you trying to download it from? And when was the last time you updated your antivirus?
If your downloaded (temporarily disable SAS) file's hash agrees with what is found here:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/2.7.2/MD5SUMS
then you should report the false positive to SAS:

Philip: I'm up to date. I've had SeaMonkey on my new computer for 3+ months. If there's been an update, it tells me when I open it. There's a download now button and that's what I do. This time after I downloaded, I attempted to run the program and instantly Superantispyware blocked it as having a threat.

The point was: we are happy you let us know, though it is likely that this is a false positive from SUPERAntiSpyware.
You should contact and check with them: either they fix their detection or report to us which exact threat they complain about.
In the meantime, we assume SAS offers a way to work around this detection, if you want to.
