Think of the tag landing pages as a KB article that has: * A tagname as its Title and slug * A Content box, which will be used to type in tag description * A list of KB articles under that tag We already have a manually-assembled version of this today. You can see it by opening any article that the SUMO front page lists out. For example: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/private-browsing-cookies-and-history We can think of each KB article as a <li><a> elements below the Title (tag name) and content (tag description). In other words, the tag landing page (at least the v1 of it) will not look different from the article listing page we have today, but they will be auto-populated. They serve the same purpose.

This is one of the early designs for topic pages. It has an introduction (wiki), top article section (manually curated) and an automated list based on some formula of popularity and helpfulness.

The main point of this is that the topic headings on the font page link to the topic pages and the articles listed below it are manually curated.

This outlined how browsing would work across the front page, topic pages, promoted articles and related articles.

Since we didn't have all of the backend to implement topic pages, we created some "Topic" articles.

They serve the same purpose. Kadir and I have talked about this in the past and the idea was always to have these be better than that - even for version 1.

(In reply to Ricky Rosario [:rrosario, :r1cky] from comment #9) > https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/topic/sync NVM, that matches the "relevant to" (product). We still need to add one for tags.

We still need to add one for > tags. NVM NVM again. The "Relevant to:" values are special tags. In addition, all other tags show up under /kb/topic/<tag-slug>. For example, I tagged the JavaScript article with "sweeeet" on stage and here it is: https://support.allizom.org/en-US/kb/topic/sweeeet

Changing to a 1pt because we discovered it was already done. The work now is to actually tag the articles. Bram will file some followups for having a tag listing page (something like /kb/tags) and an article listing page by product (something like /kb/product/<product-slug>).
