Steps to reproduce:

Use Firefox 10 with hardware acceleration enabled on a monitor powered by secondary gpu (mine is powered by intel hd 3000).  My primary graphics is AMD Radeon HD 6990.  I am using the most recent version of FF.  I have the most recent version of graphics drivers for both the intel and amd card.


Actual results:

Windows 7 64bit presents a notification that it has detected slow performance and then it switches to basic mode and disables Aero.  This always seems to happen when flash is used on the page.  It sometimes happens when it is not.  I mainly visit sites with flash so flash may be inconsequential.


Expected results:

Nothing.  The Intel HD 3000 is powerful enough to use for web browsing.  I checked with Chrome and the same pages do not cause Windows to disable Aero.  I also used Windows media player to play videos on the screen and Windows does not disable Aero.

Also, disabling hardware acceleration in the Firefox options then restarting allows me to browse without having Windows disable Aero.
