okay this is no longer a theme problem because we see the problem on both themes.

This occurs on Linux and Mac in classic theme as well (2001-03-29-04-Mtrunk). On windows, the triangle (near the tab sidebar) looks ugly and weird (2001-03-29-08-Mtrunk).

The fix for the close button will cover this as well since we have to open the flyout on the bottom left now. The close button bug is: bug 33420.
