Tabbing into address bar (or any text input area) does not automatically select existing URL

Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; N; PPC; en-US; 0.8.1) Gecko/20010321
BuildID: 2001032108
In all other browsers, tabbing into a field that already has text entered into
it will automatically select the contents of that field. Mozilla tabs the carat
to the end of the text instead. Most notable in the address bar when
<shift>-tabbing to type in a new URL.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type a URL to load a page.
2. Click (or tab) into document pane to shift focus
3. Shift-Tab to get back into address bar
Actual Results: Carat is inserted at the end of the URL
Expected Results: URL (or contents in general) should be selected
Granted, I can use the 'Select All' command to hilite the text in question, but
this is a deviation from standard behavior that irks me.

I'm confirming this, as this might be a nice enhancement. By the way,
that's what this is, an enhancement. Mozilla never before demonstrated
this action, and therefore nothing is broken. Making the above changes,
and also reassinging to keyboard nav.
Severity: minor → enhancement
