Soon we'll use elmo to host l10n.mozilla.org. Let's get a tracker on file.
(In reply to Axel Hecht [:Pike] from comment #1) > Soon we'll use elmo to host l10n.mozilla.org. > > Let's get a tracker on file. Any ETA on this? (I ask because we're trying to prioritize the RelEng work in bug#730251).
There are some regressions in our current develop branch, but we should be talking about a matter of days, possibly as soon as late next week.
OK, we have a timeline for this. We'd like to switch serving l10n.mozilla.org over to bm-l10n-dashboard01 this Friday, April 20. If possible that day, but not later, so that we can announce the new location and content of elmo on mozcamp latam. Action items I see for that include, but are not limited to: - DNS - Zeus PS: We're not planning to do redirects of l10n-stage-sj to l10n immediately, so releng can move over safely.
Severity: normal → major
Summary: NOT YET: Take over l10n.mozilla.org domain → Take over l10n.mozilla.org domain on Friday, April 20
Moving this one day earlier to be on the safe side. Current state: -dev- is serving the 2012-04-17 release from the master branch, created a copy of l10-stage-sj as l10n-prod in /etc/apache2/sites-available, replaced l10n-stage-sj with l10n for vhost, and stage. with prod. for logs. Not linked in sites-enabled yet.
Summary: Take over l10n.mozilla.org domain on Friday, April 20 → Take over l10n.mozilla.org domain on Thursday, April 19
I've flipped the DNS for this, l10n.mozilla.org now points to 22.214.171.124 which is the Zeus load balancer vip in SCL3. fox2mike@woodpecker ~ $ host l10n.mozilla.org l10n.mozilla.org has address 126.96.36.199
There are some lingering issues, but this works, and it sticks as is, thus resolving FIXED. Thanks.
