Details
At least one user had a frustrating experience trying to login multiple times and failing, because they didn't notice that the login form said "username" and were trying to use their email address.
We should discuss whether there is any downside to just allowing both.

Hmm, yeah. Especially since 0.7 used email, rather than username. I think allowing either would be fine by me. If you find an @ in the field, search by email or something simple like that.
