From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 (Macintosh; U; PPC) {had to use ns 4.7.6 to post this bug, Mozilla was inoperable} BuildID: 2001032308 After deactivating caching in Mozilla prefs Mozilla would still write cache files to disk in a folder called "NewCache" so i deleted the folder called "NewCache" and replaced it with a locked file called "NewCache" in hopes that no more disk thrashing would occur. Instead Mozilla won't even load web pages anymore. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. delete "NewCache" folder 2. replace "NewCache" folder with a locked file called "NewCache" 3. try to load any webpage, nothing will load only a blank page Actual Results: Mozilla wouldnt load html page anymore Expected Results: should have loaded web pages
