Yeah, I know even less than you do about *how*, but coming out of the bug 733556 thing, <sheeri>: I found queries >2000 seconds Apparently its not popular behavior on our part to just keep piling up query after query after query when the db is slow.
We'll design this correctly from the outset in TBPL v2, but don't think we're ever going to find time to do this in TBPL-current.
