It's very common for me to go to "About Nightly" and find that I haven't updated in a week, and an update has been downloaded and ready to install. But it seems that update is often for the day after the version I have, and not the latest version. So if I apply update, the browser starts, but still out of date. Then I have to go to "About Nightly" again, wait for it to download the latest version, then apply that. It seems like it should just try to give me the latest version the first time around.
