From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; 0.8.1)
BuildID: 2001032304
When a large image like the one above loads, black bands appear throughout the
image as it 'gaps down' and appears on screen. If you can scroll the slider up
and down enough to make the bands disappear, they stay gone when you slide back
to their location. Alt-Tabbing out to a window that covers the screen and then
tabbing back in fixes it as well. As a test, I loaded it into IE5.5, and it
worked fine there.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the page.
Actual Results: Large black bands appear across the picture.
Expected Results: The picture should have been clear.

That's precisely the effect that I saw. Sorry about the duplicate.
