Details
Step: Install and uninstall Firefox.
Expected:
When I uninstall Firefox, I would expect all files within the program files location on Win 7 32-bit to be removed (a clean remove of the application).
Actual:
Upon uninstalling Firefox, I am seeing the "Mozilla Firefox" folder to still exist. It contained:
- components (contained 5 files it in that were js, dll, xpt)
- extensions (directory structure here as well)
- jsloader (a single folder under here, nothing under that)
- plugins (bunch of dll files)
- searchplugins (comcast.xml and googledesktop.xml)
Note - I had google desktop installed on this machine.

The installer only removes files the installer itself installed and whatever installers installed those additional files is responsible for uninstalling those additional files.
