Tested on the Galaxy Nexus, Android 4.0.2, using today's trunk build of Fennec. See testcase, steps to reproduce: - Visit testcase - Tap on the Android 'minimize'/'home' button - Open Fennec again Actual result: Only these 2 lines visible: ' document.mozVisibilityState:visible document.mozHidden:false ' Expected result: These lines visible: ' document.mozVisibilityState:visible document.mozHidden:false document.mozVisibilityState:hidden document.mozHidden:true document.mozVisibilityState:visible document.mozHidden:false '
Depends on: 733411
I'm not sure if this behavior is what Fennec should do. Brad, Mark what are your thoughts.

The testcase works fine when showing/hiding tabs. Once bug 736311 is fixed, it will work fine for the active tab too. I am tempted to dupe this to bug 736311
