User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120311 Firefox/13.0a1
Build ID: 20120311031030

Steps to reproduce:

Currently all your history is meshed together from all devices, so if you want to find device specific history, it's almost impossible to find. If a user opened one page on his phone and then 100 on his laptop, the page on the phone is completely lost in the sync'd history.

It looks like a seamless experience to me, history is your global history, across any device, what you may be more interested in is in distinguishing open tabs, and that's done already (tabs from other devices).

I'm definitely more interested in providing the users the ability of filtering history by device. Or at least locally, from within the Firefox history window.
Can't be done without extensive support from history storage on each platform, and would require significant changes to Sync if more than just "this record was created here" was required.

Not to mention being counter to the goal of a seamless browsing experience. This just isn't a design goal; sorry.
