Let's disable the WN page for ESR users.

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #736001 +++

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/10.0.3/whatsnew/ says "Your Firefox is out of date. For security reasons, we recommend upgrading to the latest and greatest version." which is nonsense, it's the latest ESR release with all security fixes in place.

Whatever we do for Aurora updates, we should do here.

We're going to disable the displaying of a what's new page altogether on ESR.

Sure thing - we've already got a temporary fix in place.

and we can't reproduce bug 736001.

Closing based on this, and the fact that we don't have a reproduceable test case yet. Please re-open if we have one!
