From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-ac20 i686; en-US; 0.8.1) Gecko/20010319 BuildID: 2001031918 stracd -f mozilla while playing music gives me a hang on an open file /dev/dsp The same occurs in galeon, which leads me to the conclusion it's a mozilla and not a galeon problem Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.play music throught /dev/dsp 2.start mozilla 3. Actual Results: it hung (duh) Expected Results: It should have either looked for virtual DSPs offered by various APIs or ignored the fact that it can't open /dev/dsp and just gone on... Kernel 2.4.2, glibc 2.2, very recent helix-gnome install
