Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.24) Gecko/20111103 Firefox/3.6.24 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build ID: 20111103063747 Steps to reproduce: I have disabled installation of Add-ons. But if you use the Add-ons Manager search function, the add-ons still install. If I install from addons.mozilla.org else it tells me that "Software Installation has been disabled by the System Administrator". But if I search for an addon within the Add-ons Manager, it will install without question. Actual results: Addons installed. Expected results: The installation of the addons should have been disabled.

Assuming you are using xpinstall.enabled to disabled add-on installation, this is probably a duplicate of Bug 668999.
this bug already exits
Component: Untriaged → Add-ons Manager
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
WFM on Fx34b11. It shows add-ons installed only by the search function.
