Bram noticed that OpenSans[1] is called out on the CSS we're using on Bootstrappified mozillians-dev, but the headings are showing helvetica/georgia. Not sure what's going on, but we should be using OpenSans. Is it installed onto the dev server?

I noticed that the page did call for the Open Sans family that are hosted on Google Webfonts Libary, and the stylesheet did specify it. But I see Lucida, which is the second font in that stack.

Lets wait on this until we have advice from visual designers. (The current fonts are a default set that was put together by a designer who knows far more about this stuff than I do :P)

Hey Lee, can you help us out with figuring out the default set of fonts for sandstone. Owen needs some help here.

I don’t do design as much as I do typography, so here’s my interpretation of the Sandstone guideline:
* Headings (h1–h6) and large texts should be Open Sans Light in these sizes: 108px, 72px, 48px, 32px, 28px and 24px
* Primary body text should remain Georgia, with a base size of 16px and line-height of 24 px
* Open Sans Book could be used for alternate body text type (ie. caption), but usually there’s no need to do this

Alternate body text would include elements like the navigation menu, sidebar and footer.
Sorry I'm so late to this thread. Bram pretty much summed up the guidelines well here. There are often going to be scenarios where these guides can bend a little, but it's definitely a good place to start. Thanks Bram!

Sorry for the incomplete reply. The complete one, below:
I know that lee had started mocking up the Registration flow pages, and this includes the new Mozillians home page that everyone will see. These pages would be a good thing to design next, after this bug is done.
