- Go to this url http://washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/nation/
- grab the scrollbar thumb and move the mouse outside the window to the right

expected:
- scrollbar should continue to track

actual:
- scrollbar only tracks while mouse is inside the window

Other pages seem to correctly track the scrollbar, so i presume this is a view
bug (the page has an iframe) with mouse capture.

Hmm.. I'm not able to reproduce the problem in the April 10 Mac build
(2001041108). Mike, do you still see this ?

yes, this happens with the 4/10/01 mozilla build. modern skin.

Ok, I see it now too with modern applied. I was using classic before and
couldn't repro it.

I just sat with petersen, and now we can't reproduce it with todays build.

odd, with today's build you're right...but before it was 100% of the time. 
honest. i'm very wary about this. what changed?

try going back to the 10th. petersen said he saw it for sure then.

Yes.. I can't reproduce the problem in todays build. It was very reproduceable in 
Modern skin yesterday.

Dup of bug 114690? No-one here mentions the presence of background windows 
affecting scrolling in the frontmost window, but my guess is that this is the 
issue.
