I want to continue receiving the full security bugmail contents so that I can refer to them later, so I configured an encryption key. However, I also frequently use a client that doesn't support decrypting the messages (gmail), so it would be very useful to me if the messages also contained plain text links to the bug (so that I can click it, rather than having to copy the bug # from the summary). I have no idea how feasible this is - I suppose it might be doable with PGP, maybe harder to do with S/MIME?

I am working on a patch that does this and I currently have it working for GPG/Thunderbird but still working on a solution for SMIME as the same change doesn't work the same for both. Will work on it some more over the weekend/monday. dkl
be aware of bug 737523, which will most probably alter the work required to achieve this for pgp.
following a quick chat with dkl on irc, we'll track the s/mime changes here, and roll the pgp change into bug 737523.
Summary: send unencrypted link to bug in addition to encrypted changes → send unencrypted link to bug in addition to encrypted changes when using s/mime
