Details

This is happening over and over to me. I receive an email with the subject like "[Bug nnnnnn] (Secure bug updated)" and Gmail is stupid enough to categorize other email with subject like "[Bug xxxxxx] (Secure bug updated)" under the same conversation, which means that I will miss the bugmail for bug xxxxxx if I think that the entire conversation is regarding bug nnnnnn. Not everyone knows that Gmail doesn't always consider text in brackets as a hint for generating conversations, and I keep missing security bugmail because of this. Note that I know that this is really a problem in Gmail, and I know that if I was using a desktop email client I would not have this problem, but fact of the matter is that people are not switching their mail reader any time soon, and we don't have a way to get Gmail to fix this. A real fix will be simply removing the brackets around the bugmail for security bugmail (at least when you don't have a key in your account preferences. Thanks!
