User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0
Build ID: 20120312181643

Steps to reproduce:

This is with the Editor.

I've seen this for many past releases. When I use Seamonkey on a first html file, the Browse button that lets me preview it won't be active. If I open another file, the Browse button on the second file is active and can be used. I have to close the first file and re-open it if I want to Browse (preview) my changes in the first file.

I'm on WIndows XP Media edition

Actual results:

The Browse button to preview the changes I make (and save) is not clickable if this is the first file I opened. It works fine with any other file thereafter.

Expected results:

The Browse button should be selectable for the first file too. I found only one workaround which is to open another html file than the one I really want to open, then open the one I want to open and work on. The second one now has a Browse button I can use to preview.
I can close the first one.
This is not new to 2.9, it's been happening for a long time. But I seem to recall a time when it was not misbehaving that way.

Again, the Browse button *does* appear fine, but it can't be clicked (it is greyed out, aka inactive). Only after I open a second html file does the Browse button appear clickable (in that second file's window, not in the first file's window). From then on if I open other html files they all show the right behaviour, exc`ept for the first-opened file. That window keeps showing a button that can't be clicked.
