We already factor vmbase and MMgc into separately built libraries. It would be a good idea to try to factor the Halfmoon build process in a similar manner.
Blocks: halfmoon
This patch needs cleanup and may not be complete. At the very least, it has artifacts from fixes for Bug 734845 mixed in.
