The resize on upload code already exists, we just need to be able to run it on the existing images.
A couple examples of squished small ones: https://mozillalabs.allizom.org/en-US/webfwd/ (Diane's is super-large, but mine isn't) Not as bad: https://mozillalabs.allizom.org/en-US/open-badges/ This is not a launch blocker, IMO
