Add all available fonts as a dependency to pancake-thumbnailer-tasks. Right now some japanese and possibly other fonts are missing. Is there some font uber-package that has dependencies on all available fonts? Are there better more extensive font packages available in other repositories? We need as many fonts as possible for the thumbnailer.
No such uber-package, unfortunately. Best I can think of would be to just : $> yum install *fonts* But I don't believe that's something that should be done by the thumbnailer package

There are 499 font packages I could infer from recent Fedora 16 repos. We'd need to make the package depend on all of these, for anybody installing this package. And we'd need to make sure we keep this list up to date when Fedora adds/removes packages. Again, sounds like the job for puppet or something similar on the production thumbnailing machines.

Gozer, how about the easy way and simply depend on the gnome uber-package? The one that contains the whole desktop environment. Shouldn't that come with everything we need? We basically say: the thumbnailer requires a desktop env.
This is now taken care of by boxgrinder, so closing.
